Ohio Rapper DaBaby was in the news recently because he had a break-in at his North Carolina Home, which is a “Stand Your Ground” state so the rapper did not break any laws; now there was an audio about the call he made to the police to report the trespasser.
In the audio, we can hear the loud and painful screams of the home invader who was shot in the leg, an action that DaBaby confirms to the dispatch agent that took the 911 call.

The rapper is standing in front of the person who was shot, and the trespasser clearly knew it was the DaBaby’s property because he mentioned the name of the rapper which is Johnathan Lyndale Kirk.
The rapper mentions that he was protecting his home and defending himself which is why he opened fire on the intruder.

During the call to 911, he gets asked by the dispatcher what the condition of the one who broke in, is and if he was fully alert, to which DaBaby toughly answers ” Do you not hear this man, bro?

He also mentions that it is difficult to hear the dispatcher because of the loud complaints from the assailant, he also gets asked if there are more people there.
Furthermore, DaBaby gets asked to secure the weapon to what he answers that the will not put his firearm down because of an ongoing threat, because the assailant is still conscious, and also there could be more people there.
The trespasser received medical attention and was taken to the hospital to treat his non-life-threatening wound.
Later, DaBaby mentions that he was happy he did not kill anyone by saying “Chose not to take a n***a life the other day & it felt great. Buddy ain’t deserve to go, I step righteously. Heal up & live my boy! Just don’t bring ya ass back”
