The world of Wrestling will once again count on one of its greatest legends. Ric Flair will step back into the ring for one last match at the age of 73.

Speaking to ESPN, Flair confirmed that he will be back in the wrestling suit for an independent wrestling show on July 29, something that has not happened since 2011.

Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair’s Last Match” is the name of the event that will take place at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

Conrad Thompson, Flair’s son-in-law, will be in charge of the long-awaited comeback through his company Starrcast. It is a professional wrestling convention.

“I’m going to walk down that aisle one last time to prove once and for all that to be the Man, you have to beat the Man,” the WWE legend explained via a statement.

An enviable track record

It is not yet known who could be the opponent in the feud. Although it is rumored that it could be a massive fight involving up to six wrestlers in the same event.

Active since 1972, Flair harvests a long career as a wrestler that has earned him to be named twice as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
