Russell Westbrook‘s future with the Los Angeles Lakers remains a huge question mark, especially following the team’s decision to trade for Patrick Beverley.

As a result a move to another team looks more likely than ever, with several teams said to be in the mix.

Sam Amico of ‘Hoopswire.com’ reports the Lakers have spoken to as many as five teams.

The Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz are two potential landing spots, with the latter now in a full rebuild following their decision to trade away Donovan Mitchell.

Draft picks key to Westbrook exit

One stumbling block is the Lakers’ reluctance to include their first found draft picks in 2027 and 2029, though Amico says that may change.

“If it means getting the trade done as soon as possible, the Lakers are willing to move both of their picks,” he said.
