We have bad news for everyone who has never had the chance to experience Russell Wilson’s “Dangerwich” from Subway. It seems to have been removed from the Subway “Vault” menu.
Around the time of the Super Bowl in February, Subway debuted their online “Vault” menu, which offered subs made by different NFL stars. “Russell Wilson’s “Dangerwich” had “pepperoni, salami, black forest ham, provolone cheese and bacon on Italian Herbs and Cheese bread, topped with lettuce, green peppers, tomatoes, and banana peppers, and finished with yellow mustard and mayo.”
Although it didn’t really catch on at the time, the “Dangerwich” has recently grown in popularity, especially among Russ’ detractors and haters, as a result of the Denver Broncos quarterback’s extremely awkward advertisements and subpar play.
However, with the internet being the internet, trolling began. And it hit hard…
The “Dangerwich” sandwich is long longer available at the Subway ‘Vault’
It looks that Subway has now removed the “Dangerwich” off its “Vault” menu, perhaps not caring to see one of their sandwiches become a joke.
Today, a few brave souls tried to order the sandwich from Subway’s Vault, but they were unable to.
When the Broncos face the New York Jets this Sunday, who are currently on a tear, Russell Wilson will be hoping for better outcomes than his sandwich.
