Ryan Garcia is starting to turn up the heat ahead of his next fight with Gervonta Davis.
After defeating Javier Fortuna last Saturday, Garcia was already hard at work letting it be known he doesn’t fear his next opponent.
“Okay now cmon Gervonta come get this ass whooping real quick… It will only hurt a little, you won’t see it and we can hit the club after,” he wrote on Twitter. “Just accept the fight and your fate.
“I won’t just beat tank, I will make it look like there was no reason for him to be in the ring with me. Easy Easy Lemon Squeezy.”
Garcia remains undefeated with a record of 23-0 after his win over Fortuna.
Looking forward to the fight
Garcia already warned the media: “I’m going to record all the negotiations so they can’t say I’m avoiding the fight.”
It’s no surprise then that Garcia immediately called out Gervonta after his win over Fortuna.
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” Garcia added. “That fight is going to give me the respect I deserve.”
Gervonta wasted no time in responding, stating on Twitter: “See y’all the end of the year..#TheONE”
