The young boxer Ryan Garcia, continues to give a lot to talk about with his statements to the media, although now he made a small analysis on the fight between Canelo vs. Golovkin and gave his verdict on who will win.

Canelo Alvarez: I’m in the running to be the best in history

While being asked in an interview for DAZN, about who will be the one to come out with his fists up, King Ryan analyzed some factors and finally concluded: “I will say that Golovkin”, will be the winner.

Contradictory words from Ryan Garcia?

What is striking, is that just a few days ago, Ryan Garcia mentioned that Canelo Alvarez is a “legendary boxer”, however, that for him does not mean that he will win in all his fights.

Canelo Alvarez: I’m in the running to be the best in history

“Of course, the obvious pick is Canelo, but I don’t know, I think I have a feeling Golovkin will have the best performance of his life,” Ryan Garcia said. “I don’t know why I have that feeling that Golovkin will have an unbelievable fight for some reason, I don’t know why.”

Does Golovkin arrive in better shape than Canelo?

While Canelo Alvarez’s last loss to Dmitry Bivol took a bit of credibility away from him by some boxing fans or pundits, it’s worth mentioning that Golovkin will come into this fight on a nice winning streak.

Since September 2018 Gennady Golovkin, lost his undefeated, however, after that fight that was against Canelo, he has not fallen again.

After that date he has four consecutive victories, two of them by knockout and one more by corner decision, however, it is practically by fast track.

Two of those victories meant her promotion again, since they earned her two world titles in the 160 lbs. division. The first was the IBF title against Sergiy Derevyanchenko and just in April 2022 he defeated Ryota Murata to win the WBA title.

For his part, Canelo achieved the unification at 168 pounds, however, he will come to this fight with the loss against Bivol, which tarnishes his record and may be one of the reasons why Ryan Garcia will give the victory to Golovkin and not to his former ring mate.
