Darnell Greene Jr., a man from Houston who was in Las Vegas during the 2022 Pro Bowl weekend, filed a lawsuit againstNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara on Friday, seeking $10 million in damages.

The lawsuit, filed in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, claims Kamara, 27, punched Greene multiple times, including while the victim was defenseless on the ground.

Greene seeks $10 million for pain and suffering, medical and legal fees, disfigurement, and mental anguish.

Kamara was arrested in February in Las Vegas for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and has not been punished him by the NFL.

The battery case has been delayed, and Greene wants this new lawsuit to be a trial by jury.

Alvin Kamara could be in huge trouble

The suit states Greene was leaving Drai’s After Dark at the Cromwell Hotel & Casino in the early morning on February 5 when he entered the elevator with Kamara and a few others.

It also claims Kamara “shoved Greene into a wall and repeatedly punched him in the face” before chasing him down the hall to continue the beating.

The lawsuit, which also alleges that Kamara bragged about punching the plaintiff, reportedly includes videos of the incident to prove Greene’s claims.

“I connected with the [expletive’s] jaw so hard,” Kamara told his friends upon entering an SUV after the incident, according to the lawsuit.

Kamara said in a police interview that Greene called one of his friends ugly prior to the attack.

Based on the video, Kamara did not throw the first punch, but promptly joined the others beating on the victim.
