Controversy sparked concerning Draymond Green‘s behavior in Thursday’s Golden State Warriors practice session, when the star punched his teammate Jordan Poole following an altercation.
After the incident, general manager Bob Myers reportedly asked Stephen Curry whether he would be willing to take Green‘s place as the Warriors leader.

“You guys need to pay me some more money,” Curry said jokingly to ease the tension at the team.
Following Curry‘s response, Myers didn’t hesitate to joke back by stressing that “we pay you as much as we can”.
Golden State beat the Boston Celtics 4-2 last season to clinch the NBA title, with both Poole and Green being key to their team’s success.

A TMZ video has gone viral showing Green throwing a punch at his teammate during practice.
The Warriors star apologized shortly after, but he is expected to be punished by the club.
“I just said [to Green] ‘You’re better than this’,” Myers.
“Like don’t, don’t, don’t do this. Don’t do this yourself. Don’t put yourself in this position.
“You still, still love the person. You don’t love what he did, but still love the guy.
“So he’s complicated. But he is a good person. He is a good person. He is. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen a lot of things he’s done.
“Yesterday wasn’t one of them. He knows what he needs to do, and he’s got to make amends and he started with that this morning.”
