An unexpected incident took place during the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, as Will Smith slapped host Chris Rock on stage after the latter’s joke on the hair of the former’s wife.

Rock referred to Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved hair despite the actress having revealed that she is suffering from the hair loss condition alopecia.
