After terminating his contract with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia to join Al Nassr.

The Saudi club have offered Ronaldo a lucrative contract, one which will see him earn as many as 200 million euros per year including a deal to become an ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Ronaldo departed Manchester United in November following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan in which he blasted coach Erik ten Hag and the club’s owners.

Should he join Al Nassr, Ronaldo could move to a luxurious neighbourhood in the capital of Riyadh. According to the Daily Mail, one of them is Al Muhammadiyah, which boasts some of the best restaurants in the city, and the other is called Al Nakheel, a neighbourhood with international schools.

Some of these areas are built for Western families and are guarded by the Mutaween religious police.

Although the property rental websites do not include luxurious properties, there are several palaces that Ronaldo could buy through private agreements to spend his time in Saudi Arabia.

As reported by the Daily Mail, one of them is located in the Al Macqa neighbourhood and it’s priced at 14 million euros. It includes eight bedrooms, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a reception foyer with waterfall-features.
