The Rafa Nadal Academy has paid a touching tribute to Roger Federer on their various social media platforms.
They posted a video in which coaches and young players alike send warm messages of thanks to the tennis legend, who recently announced his retirement from the game.
“Roger thank you for what you have done for tennis, you will be missed” said one girl. “Thank you for being a role model off and on the court,” said another. One young tennis player even pleaded with Roger to reconsider his decision to hang up his tennis racket. “Please Roger don’t retire, think about it one more time”.
The video ended with an emotional message from Rafa himself, who referenced the wonderful moments they shared together on the tennis court.
