Dmitry Bivol is a doubly dangerous fighter for Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, but the Mexican has prepared in the best way to move up to the semi-complete division and beat him, Jose “Chepo” Reynoso said.
Because of Bivol’s qualities, such as his reach, stature, undefeated record and that he is the current champion, Canelo will not have an easy opponent, said Chepo Reynoso in an interview with Fino Boxing.
Canelo likes danger, that’s why he accepted
“(Bivol) a dangerous fighter, besides we have to consider that he is a fighter who has never lost, then that makes him doubly dangerous; he is a champion who does not want to lose his title, it makes him doubly champion. So, he’s a dangerous fighter but that’s what Saul prepared for, for a dangerous fighter, and to beat him,” Reynoso said.
Bivol, undefeated with a record of 19-0, 11 knockouts, has great experience in the amateur arena and is dangerous, but Chepo said that Canelo likes danger and that’s why he agreed to fight him.
Bivol’s undefeated record scares most
“It’s a complicated fight, we see an undefeated champion, he doesn’t know what it is to lose, with great amateur experience; a European fighter, strong by nature, taller than him, in short. He is a dangerous fighter, the dangerous ones are the good ones, he (Canelo) has always liked danger”.
On Saturday Canelo will challenge Bivol for the WBA 175 lbs. belt, a complicated fight, but one in which Saul Alvarez will show all the discipline and work he has done to get to the place where he is.
“It is the result of work, of a job well done, of many years, it is a job well done and it is the prize, there are no secrets in life to succeed, just do things right and be responsible and disciplined,” said Chepo.
