The NBA presented days before the two finalists, the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics, the trophies that will be awarded to the monarchs of the best basketball on the planet.

Being the season that commemorates the 75th anniversary of the NBA, the league presented some modifications for the champions, the MVP and other recognitions for the best of the Finals.
Larry O’Brien Trophy
The winning team will receive, as usual, the Larry O’Brien Trophy, named after the third commissioner in the history of the NBA since 1984. O’Brien was responsible for four franchises of the defunct ABA and went on to the NBA. The trophy is 65 cm tall and weighs approximately 13 kg, with its new measurements.
The trophy is worn by the NBA Finals MVP, named in honor of Bill Russell since 2009, in honor of the legend who had a record 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons.
The Bill Russell award, which stands 44 cm tall and weighs 5 kg, features a gold vermeil finish to match the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and has a similar look, revealing the net and ball channels.
Who makes the NBA Trophies?
Newly named trophies aren’t the only changes the league unveiled this postseason, as several trophies were also redesigned thanks to an ongoing collaboration with Los Angeles designer Victor Solomon, Tiffany & Co. and the league.
