Despite beating Eddie Hall, Hafthor Bjornsson was left with a big black eye after a series of blows in their pulsating boxing match.
Bjornsson floored Hall twice in what was labelled the heaviest boxing match ever, and won by a unanimous decision.
The man-mountain’s friend Larry Wheels shared a picture of the pair to his Instagram story, which showed the area under Bjornsson‘s right eye was black and blue.
Bjornsson, who was a star in Game of Thrones, praised Hall for his valiant effort on Saturday.
“I’ve never been dropped in training, so hats off to him,” said Bjornsson. “He really can punch.
“Understandably, he seemed a bit angry still. He lost the fight so it’s understandable as well. But I’m happy, if he wants the rematch I’ll take a rematch no problem.”
