The United States defeated Iran 1-0 and secured their pass to the round of 16 in the World Cup in Qatar 2022. Tim Weah highlighted teamwork and mentioned that his country plays soccer very well.
The set of the stars and stripes arrived with the noose around their necks in the last game of the group stage, the victory was necessary to advance to the round of 16, otherwise they would be left out of Qatar 2022.
