TNT Sports presenter Lynsey Hipgrave is left red-faced and admits she 'should not have said' comment that 'came out wrong' after Newcastle's dramatic win over West Ham

TNT presenter Lynsey Hipgrave was left red-faced at the end of the broadcast of Newcastle’s dramatic win over West Ham.

Eddie Howe’s men came from 3-1 down to seal a dramatic 4-3 in Saturday’s lunch-time game at St James’ Park.

Hipgrave, who is a big Newcastle fan, was unsurprisingly left delighted as she closed out the programme in hilarious fashion.

Pundit Joe Cole then joked about Hipgrave’s wild celebrations  and she responded: ‘I might finish it [the day] on my back after a few beers later with my dad.’

Hipgrave then realised what she had said and broke out in laughter, while Cole and Owen Hargreaves could also not contain themselves.

The 44-year-old then gathered her composure to finish off the show, adding: ‘I shouldn’t have said that.’

Cole interrupted with a smirk on his face, saying: ‘I’m not saying nothing, I’m not saying nothing.’

‘It came out wrong, it came out wrong,’ she continued as she looked up to the Sky. Hipgrave then concluded by saying: ‘Have a happy Easter everyone. I’m going, bye.’

Newcastle’s unlikely late win may help her forget about the awkward moment she endured on live TV.

The Magpies had taken the lead through Alexander Isak’s penalty before goals by Michail Antonio, Mohamed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen put West Ham 3-1 up.

Isak then scored from the spot again and Barnes equalised after the 83rd minute before his winner seven minutes later.
