Tom Brady might still be dominating the field, but in the game of love, things aren’t looking that great as rumors of his inevitable divorce of his longtime partner Giselle Bündchen are inevitably coming true.
Earlier this week, just hours after Page Six reported that she and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had contacted divorce attorneys, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was pictured sans her wedding band.
However, Tom still has his son Jack by his side, and after his victory over the Atlanta Falcons, the QB decided to spend some quality time with him fishing and watching the sunset.
Given that Bündchen is allegedly “done” with Brady and “doesn’t believe” that their 13-year marriage can be saved, this could be a bitter-sweet occasion.
Buccaneers triumph over Falcons
On Sunday, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers held off a comeback attempt by the Atlanta Falcons to win their Week 5 contest 21-15.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion may have felt that the victory had greater significance. Brady put the turmoil in the past on Sunday for at least three hours so that he could focus on the Falcons.
He completed 35 of his 52 passes for 351 yards and one touchdown to Leonard Fournette. With their third victory of the year, Tampa Bay helped the NFC South reclaim first place.
Brady passed for more than 300 yards for the second straight game, the first time in back-to-back regular season games since Weeks 16 and 17 of the previous campaign. The Associated Press reported that it was Brady’s 40th 300-yard game since turning 40.
Brady’s off-field activities will undoubtedly once again be in the spotlight as Sunday gives way to Monday. The following weekend, Brady and the Buccaneers visit Pittsburgh to play the Steelers.
