Six years ago today, ESPN analyst Max Kellerman said Tom Brady was going to “fall off a cliff” in his NFL career.

The origin of that story, of course, came when Kellerman declared in full confidence in the summer of 2016 that Brady was “just about done,” that he would be “a bum in short order,” and that he “is going to fall off a cliff.” As the world knows now — and as many knew then — Kellerman was wrong.

Since that day, Brady has claimed three Super Bowl titles. As a 44-year-old quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, he led the league in completions (485), passing yards (5,316) and passing touchdowns (43).

Brady sends a message to Kellerman

After tagging Kellerman, Brady wrote, “ratio + I have a swimwear line now,” while also giving a thumbs up.

Max Kellerman has offered his fair share of bad takes throughout his career. However, this might go down as one of his worst. Even so, the sports analyst poked a little fun back at the Buccaneers superstar with a perfect sarcastic response. Somehow, some people in the mentions didn’t catch the sarcasm here and got roasted for it.
