After Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s divorce announcement took over the news cycle this Friday a new report is making waves online regarding Tom Brady and his involvement in Super Bowl LVII, either as a player or as an analyst.
We’ve got to remember that earlier this year, Tom Brady and FOX announced they’ve reached an agreement for the quarterback to work for the network 10 years upon his retirement in exchange for $375 million dollars.
Fox wants Tom Brady as an analyst for Super Bowl LVII
A report by Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports claims that his source told him about FOX’s intentions to have Tom Brady involved in the Super Bowl LVII coverage that they got this year if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t make it to the game.
“If he’s not playing in the game, I would expect Brady to be part of Fox’s Super Bowl coverage. Definitely. I would be very surprised if he isn’t.”
Brady will join FOX’s number one broadcasting booth as soon as he retires and this well could be his final season.
FOX has already announce their Super Bowl LVII booth
After the departure of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman from FOX to work for ESPN on Monday Night Football, the network took to Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen as their stellar broadcasting duo and it would seem unlikely that they throw Brady just like that for their biggest game of the season.
The report also expresses that the most likely scenario is one where Tom Brady joins the FOX NFL Sunday crew for the coverage surrounding the game for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
So even if Tom Brady has a record of 3-5 at the moment, his chances of reaching the Super Bowl are almost certain.
