Tre Ford, the Edmonton Elks’ quarterback, will he play tonight in the CFL? Update on Collarbone Injuries

Tre Ford, the quarterback for the Edmonton Elks in the Canadian Football League, was born in Canada. He received honors in 2021, including the Lois and Doug Mitchell Award for outstanding male collegiate athletes and the Hec Crighton Trophy for U Sports football.

As the quarterback for the Marauders at A. N. Myer Secondary School, he guided them to three consecutive OFSAA championships.

In the final rankings of players eligible for the 2022 CFL Draft, the Amateur Scouting Bureau of the Canadian Football League placed Ford first among U Sports players and fourth overall.

Because of his outstanding performance at the University of Buffalo pro day, when his 40-yard dash speed of 4.45 was the fastest of any quarterback eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft, Tre was also speculated to have been signed by a National Football League team.

He was not chosen in the 2022 NFL Draft and no NFL team signed him. He received invitations to the mini-camps of the New York Giants and the Baltimore Ravens, though. Ford was subsequently chosen by the Edmonton Elks in the first round of the 2022 CFL Draft.
