On Week 4 of Thursday Night, Miami’s QB suffered a head injury and abandoned the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tagovailoa’s situation revived NFL’s worst scandal, CTE. Even Dr. Omalu, the pathologist who discovered the chronic traumatic encephalopathy, mentioned that Tua needs to quit football due to the damage he can take during his career.

NFL former star Jamal Lewis advised Tua Tagovailoa to value his health. Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. He is one of eight players who rushed 2,000 yards in a single season.
“This is a silent creeper,” Lewis told TMZ about the concussion effects, “that can haunt you for the rest of your life slowly.”
Jamal Lewis, former RB for the Baltimore Ravens, suffered multiple concussions during his NFL career. However, one of those concussions provided Lewis with a horrifying experience.

In 2009, a rival knocked down Jamal Lewis during an NFL game, and the RB spent months suffering the head trauma effects. Lewis describes that one day he “woke up not really recognizing myself.”
After the hit, Jamal Lewis knew that football might pay his bills. Nevertheless, Lewis understood that his family came first, and the people he loves comes first.
“You gotta be smarter and understand that you might have a family,” Lewis said, “that you have other people that are more important than this game.”
Jamal Lewis also told Tua Tagovailoa to take a break for the game to assure he’s alright because probably, the next big hit might end Tua’s career.
