Vince McMahon is longer involved with the WWE, and as such no longer holds any power over what happens in the world of wrestling.

But, as Bobby Lashley has recalled, McMahon was no stranger to flexing his muscle when it came to deciding what did or didn’t happen in wrestling and in the careers of its fighters.

“I wanted to fight in both [UFC and WWE] at the same time,” Lashley said to Sean Ross. “But I understand that Vince didn’t like that idea.”

McMahon rejected Lashley‘s suggestion, and the fighter instead tried his luck in the world of MMA after leaving WWE in 2008.

In 17 fights, he recorded an impressive 15 wins and suffered just two losses.

He is now involved in RAW, wherein he is a United States champions, and he is set to defend his title against AJ Styles, a fighter whom he is yet to come up against in a one-on-one bout.
