Following their victory over Bourg-en-Bresse, Metropolitan 92‘s Victor Wembanyama reiterated his case for becoming the overall no.1 draft pick for the 2023 NBA Draft.

The 18 year old had 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks for a PIR of 28 in 37 minutes scoring seven of the nine jump shots he took.

Following the game, Wembanyama now averages 19.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.8 blocks for a PIR of 22.2 in 30.3 minutes in LNB Pro A.

Wembanyama now the highest rated player in LNB

His 28 PIR against Bourg-en-Bresse now makes him the highest rated player in the LNB with a PIR of 22.2 per game, beating out promising talents such as Ismael Kamagate (20.3), David Holston (20), Three Tinkle (19.6) and Matt Morgan (19.3).

Wembanyama is also the fourth best rebounder (8.3) and best shot closer (2.8) in the LNB.
