It’s not easy to walk around with the favorite’s sign in the World Cup because it weighs a lot, but if there is a team who know how to carry it then it’s Brazil.

Having already won five World Cups, Brazil arrived in Qatar in pursuit of the sixth.

The first step has been taken, although it took them an hour to find the right path, eventually winning 2-0 against Serbia.

Tite’s team have plenty of resources, as they showed at Lusail, the stadium where the final will be played. Switzerland are the next team they will face on Monday.

Wow! Richarlison, take a bow!

Serbia were forced to do without one of their most talented players, Dusan Vlahovic, as fitness issues prevented him from playing until the 66th minute.

The in-form Juventus star has scored as many as 28 goals in 42 games in 2022, so you wonder if it’d have been different with him from the start.

Wow! Richarlison, take a bow!

Almost half of Brazil‘s starting line-ups played their first World Cup game.

Alex Sandro, Lucas Paqueta, Vinicius, Raphinha and Richarlison all made their World Cup debuts, with Rodrygo, Fred, Antony and Gabriel Martinelli also doing so off the bench.

Wow! Richarlison, take a bow!

It wasn’t a great game for Raphina. Xavi Hernandez has benched him since October 20, with the exception of the game away at Viktoria Plzen.

Perhaps Tite should do the same, as Raphinha has been struggling lately.

He missed a couple of huge chances after the break and didn’t make an impact.

Wow! Richarlison, take a bow!

There are tackles that generate almost as much noise in a stadium as a goal, and most of them have Neymar as the main character in the role of victim.

The Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil star has been at the receiving end of rough challenges, but there are some things you just can’t get used to. For example, Nemanja Gudelj‘s tackle in the 49th minute to stop Neymar just outside Serbia‘s box.

Wow! Richarlison, take a bow!

Richarlison has been labelled by many as ‘crazy’. He has shown it repeatedly off the field, with statements such as his desire to go to an island full of women to emulate Ronaldinho‘s mythical photo, or by insulting a German journalist at a press conference for the way he spoke of Neymar.

And he also shows it on the pitch too, going for every ball and even trying the impossible at times. But, that’s how he opened the scoring and then made it 2-0 with a bicycle kick on Thursday.
