Storm Jocelyn will hit the UK with more wind and rain after Storm Isha caused battered vast parts of Yorkshire yesterday – resulting in the death of a man who fell down a manhole cover in Bradford.

There are eight flood warnings and 15 alerts currently in place. This next storm will bring Yorkshire windy weather on Tuesday night and into Wednesday, according to The Met Office.

Bradford can expect winds gust of up to 48mph, in Huddersfield it will reach 50mph, in Leeds 46mph, Sheffield 47mph and York, 51mph.

The Met Office has said: “Cloud thickening and winds strengthening through the day in association with the approaching Storm Jocelyn, this bringing heavy rain and widespread gales. Mild. Maximum temperature 13C.”
