“Selling Sunset” star Jason Oppenheim hasn’t been afraid to make his love life public. Oppenheim — the president and co-founder of the Oppenheim Group — has been public about a lot of his relationships on the show. Most recently, he was linked to Marie-Lou Nürk but the pair split this May.
At the time, Oppenheim shared the news on his Instagram Story, writing of their long-distance relationship, “While we still love and care for each other very much, the distance between us has proven too great to overcome. We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another.” He continued, “We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship.” Nürk shared the same message on her Instagram.
Their split news came almost two weeks after season six of his reality show premiered on Netflix. The season’s drama centered three women Oppenheim has previously dated: Nicole Young, Mary Fitzgerald, and Chrishell Stause. Meanwhile, Oppenheim spent most of the season happily jet-setting with Nürk. During season seven of the series — which premieres on Nov. 3 and was filmed earlier this year — Oppenheim and Nürk are still a couple, and she even dives into some of the drama herself.
Oppenheim, 46, was born and raised in California. He was a lawyer before he turned his focus to real estate in 2010. Oppenheim is famously close to his exes, telling Tudum in 2022, “My ex-girlfriends are my closest friends in my life. Chrishell is certainly included in that too. Like Mary, I love her and I have so much respect for her.” He added that he thinks going from lovers to friends is natural because the love you feel for someone doesn’t go away after a breakup. “At some point, you get over the breakup and then you’re left with the friendship and the love that you had in a relationship.”
In the same article, Fitzgerald called Oppenheim “the most loyal guy I think I’ve ever met.” “[Some] people truly deserve to be fired, [but] he has such a big heart,” she added. “I don’t think that comes across as much on the show because he’s a boss. But he’s the most generous and loving person.”
