Joseph Morgan is an actor and filmmaker from the United Kingdom. He is most recognized for his portrayal of Niklaus “Klaus” Mikaelson on The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals on The CW.
Biography of Joesph Morgan
Morgan was born in London on May 16, 1981, but spent 11 years in Swansea. He is the family’s oldest kid. He attended Morriston Comprehensive School. And subsequently Gorseinon College (now Gower College Swansea) for a BTEC Performing Arts course. Before returning to London in his late teens to study at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Career
Morgan played Troy in the first season of Sky One’s Hex. And has acted in supporting roles in films like Alexander and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, as well as the BBC Two television series The Line of Beauty. He has also acted in the television show Doc Martin. And Casualty, as well as co-starring alongside Billie Piper in Mansfield Park. In 2010, he starred in the mini-series “Ben Hur,” which premiered on CBC television in Canada and ABC television in the United States on April 4, 2010.

Morgan starred alongside Henry Cavill as Niklaus Mikaelson in The CW’s The Vampire Diaries and as Lysander in the 2011 film Immortals.
