Amanda Balionis’ Husband Bryn Renner Is Her Best Friend

Seasoned journalist Amanda Balionis married former NFL quarterback Brynn Renner in 2022. The couple, who have largely been in a long-distance relationship, was able to make it work and seem to be happy with their romantic life.

Amanda Balionis is a popular television personality who works for the CBS TV network. She specializes in sports reporting and has experience in various sports, including golf and football. She has managed to carve a successful career in a male-dominated industry.

Her husband used to be a professional football player who had a successful college career but a very short stint in NFL. The couple met in 2019 and got engaged in 2021.

Amanda’s Husband Makes Her Laugh Every Day

Balionis met her future husband on November 23, 2019, a day that Renner described as one that changed his life forever. It seems the two began a long-distance relationship shortly a few weeks after they became acquainted.

Renner convinced Balionis to try the cross-country relationship by advising her not to “overthink it.” In hindsight, she believes it is the best advice she has ever received as their relationship has continued to blossom. They enjoy themselves in various ways, including going on road trips.

Balionis says that Renner had made her days more exciting, fun, and meaningful since they met. Her face constantly hurts from laughing too much. On his birthday, she dedicated a message to Renner with the caption:

“Happy Birthday to this guy. The guy who makes me laugh every single day. The guy who chooses to live outside of his comfort zone every single day no matter how hard it is and inspires so many without even realizing it. The one who is everyone’s biggest hype man and fiercest protector.”

Brynn Renner Is a Former NFL Player

Born on January 22, 1990, in West Springfield, Virginia, Renner had an early start on his journey in football. His talents were widely recognized in high school, eventually ranked as the All-America number 3 quarterback in the country in his senior year. During those early years, he was coached by his father.

After high school, he joined the University of North Carolina in 2009. At the tertiary institutions, Renner broke the record for most pass totals in a season for the university, with 28 and 26 achieved in 2012 and 2011, respectively. Furthermore, he also holds the record for the most games with a 300-yard passing distance after doing it ten times.

Accolades continued to come for the trailblazing quarterback as he was named an All-ACC and All-American Candidate in 2013. However, despite significant success in college, he failed to make an impact in the NFL Draft in 2014. Eventually, the Denver Broncos snapped him up, which began his nomadic life in the NFL.

In the three seasons Renner played in the NFL and AFL, he represented about six teams, highlighting his struggles to make the grade alongside the best the sport offers. His appearances for the later teams were limited to practice teams.

His professional career as a player ended before it got going in 2016, and he joined the backroom staff at Florida State University. His current job description is quarterback coach for the Panthers.

Brynn Renner’s Instagram Has Only 3 Pictures

Renner is not very active on social media, which is, to a large degree, opposite from his wife. Understandably, her journalism work, covering golf stars such as Justin Rose and Tiger Woods, requires being as active publicly as possible. The former NFL player only has three pictures posted on his Instagram.

All the photos are of himself and his wife. The first, in March 2020, shows pictures from the couple’s travels. The caption explained that they had been to two countries, four states, and five flights in nine days, and he was looking forward to more adventures with his then-girlfriend Balionis.

The second post talks about when they first met and spent the following fifteen months getting to know each other. The center also served as an announcement of their engagement. Renner is seen kneeling on one knee on the beach, popping the question to an elated Balionis, who said yes.

The third and last post was a year later, this time, a celebration of their wedding day which had taken place on March 12, 2022. The wedding happened near the sea and was attended by many people, including about ten groomsmen and even more bridesmaids—an incredible reception for the married best friends.
