Amanda Kloots talked to David Begnaud of CBS News about her life now and her grief journey. Kloots posted an Instagram video of her chat with Begnaud, writing: “Grief doesn’t end, but life does keep going, and that life, I’ve tried to make the most beautiful.” The co-host of “The Talk” said her grief often “comes out of nowhere.”

Kloots teared up while explaining that she recently heard a song on the radio that her late husband Nick Cordero sang in “Rock of Ages.” Kloots confessed, “I looked over at the passenger seat and it was empty and it hits me like a ton of bricks.” The mom-of-one told Begnaud, “It hits you that you’re alone … I’m alone … I lost him.” After she said that, little Elvis chimed in, “I lost you.” Kloots keeps it real, but she’s always upbeat. “I miss having somebody to come home to, I miss laughing with somebody. Every time I tell this story, it’s amazing how helpful it is in this grieving journey,” she added. “Grief does not stop.”

In an interview with Vogue in December 2021, Kloots said, “I will say, that just really isn’t my personality, to take the woe-is-me approach.” We wish Kloots and Elvis the best as they keep moving along.
