There are those in life who suffer heartbreaking pasts, and yet, while they could become bitter and negative, they develop a heart of gold instead. This young boy, who suffered a lot throughout his life, chose to do so and has become one of the most beloved individuals alive today.

While having grown up to be a beloved “saint” among the adoring public, one young boy suffered greatly as a child. At only three years old, his father disappeared. He saw his father for the last time when he was 13 years old, who was then imprisoned for possession of drugs.

This young boy also struggled in school and was diagnosed with dyslexia, making writing and reading difficult. Eventually, he was expelled due to behavioral issues.

The Deaths That Rocked This Icon’s World

In 1985, 20-year-old Keanu Reeves got his big break in the film, “Young Again,” where he played Young Michael. Things began to look even more up when he met a woman, Jennifer Syme, who he said he fell in love with hard and fast.

She soon fell pregnant with his child, but tragically, eight months into the pregnancy, their daughter was born stillborn. They had already named their unborn child Ava Archer Syme-Reeves.

Two years following this, while driving under the influence and following a party she attended with the now infamous Marilyn Manson, she died in a car accident. This “saint” used his art to deal with the loss but claimed that the dark feelings of losing someone you love remain inside you forever.

At 55 years old and in 2019, the usually private “The Matrix” star officially revealed his new relationship to the world by going with artist Alexandra Grant to the LACMA Art + Film Gala. Speaking about the couple, an insider claimed:

“He is extremely happy and grateful to have Alex in his life.”

The two had reportedly been dating for a while before they attended the event together. Despite Reeve’s dyslexic diagnosis, they worked on two books together and founded the publishing company “X Artists’ Books” together.

The Hollywood Saint: In Love, Successful, and Kind

In March 2023, this “saint” opened up about their relationship even more, talking about the utter joy he experienced with his partner. When asked about when he last felt true happiness, he said it was with Grant a few days ago. The actor expressed:

“We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”

From a broken home, a learning disability, getting expelled, and losing a child and the woman he loved, Reeves has completely turned his life around. More than that, he has earned himself the reputation of Hollywood’s most authentic and kindest man. As one individual tweeted: “Keanu Reeves is a saint.”
