Faculty at Columbia University tell Al Jazeera they are ‘furious’ students are being arrested for participating in peaceful pro-Palestine protests on campus. The president of Columbia University Minouche Shafik is facing censure for her decision to call police onto campus, after a vote to do so was rejected by the school’s Senate.
