Dispatches Saturday latest as mystery surrounds special 90-minute episode on Channel 4

A special episode of Channel 4’s Dispatches is set to air tomorrow (Sat) with mystery surrounding the show’s subject.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy has hastily deleted his tweet this evening saying ‘something’s up’ as the 90-minute special is due to air on Channel 4 at 9pm tomorrow. He reportedly tweeted a picture of the schedule alongside the caption: ‘Something’s up’, before deleting it around an hour later.

The Channel 4 News anchor and Strictly star, 53, has worked for Channel 4 for 25 years.’ There is some speculation that the episode could centre around a scandal involving someone in the public eye.

The Channel 4 TV guide simply lists the hotly-anticipated programme as ‘New: Dispatches Special. A 90-minute special Dispatches investigation’. A link to the programme page comes up with a message saying: ‘That page cannot be found. Either the address is incorrect or the page is no longer available.’

The description of the episode says ‘Dispatches – Investigation series covering issues in British society, politics, international current affairs, health, religion and the environment.’
