Following her meteoric rise to fame, Ice Spice went from the streets to the stage. And she isn’t the only one enjoying the fruits of her labor, as the New York-born rapper revealed that her fame has helped her siblings avoid getting bullied.

There have been different reports about how many siblings Ice Spice has, which could have to do with the fact that she prefers not to share too much about her family. However, the rapper humorously shared that her siblings still treat her the same despite becoming an international star.

Ice Spice Is a Self-Appointed Protector of Her Siblings

While different reports have alleged Ice Spice has four or five siblings, the rapper revealed that she is the protector of her siblings and loves that her fame has also benefitted them.

“There’s been a point where they’ve been bullied — we’ve all been bullied at one point — but they don’t gotta deal with that. Like now, they’re GOATed,” Ice Spice said.

The rapper further remarked that the best part of being famous is being able to provide security for her family, especially her siblings, as their classmates and friends treat them well since she is their sister, and she loves that.

However, occasionally, she’s reminded of her roots. During an interview, her father and brother visited her new home and reminded the rapper of her humble beginnings: soul food.

And as she continues to release records and top charts, Ice Spice revealed that she can rely on her siblings to remind her of how well she’s doing. “All my siblings tell me how they just see me all over [TikTok’s] For You Page, and all their friends be singing my song and stuff.
