Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Complete Relationship Timeline

Jennifer Lopez’s love life is worthy of all the attention it has gotten, especially since the ageless beauty has been married more than once and shared romances with famous figures. Here is a timeline of her relationship with her current lover, Ben Affleck.

The Latino goddess, who is obsessed with her fitness routine, managing to keep her body toned, and beauty ageless, did not go below the bar when she attended the recent MTV Movie and TV award.

Lopez, famous for her unique fashion sense that often displays some skin, rocked a sensational outfit made of partly leather, with a neckline that revealed more than a cleavage.

She accepted her award and gave the most heart-melting speech on stage. First, the actress thanked her audience and later addressed those who never believed in her. According to Lopez: 

“I want to thank the people who gave me joy. And the ones who broke my heart. The ones who were true and the ones who lied to me… I want to thank all the people who told me to my face or when I wasn’t in the room that I couldn’t do this.”

The “Hustlers” star added that she was grateful to the kind-hearted folks in her life and fans who have continued to show her love and appreciation.

Lopez has always been honest about her life, including her struggles and relationships. The “Selena” star has never shied away from love, no matter how many failed relationships hit her.

Her current love interest is Ben Affleck. An old flame was rekindled with these two, as they were a one-time power couple in the early 2000s before calling it quits.

WHEN DID JENNIFER LOPEZ AND BEN AFFLECK GET TOGETHER AGAIN?

Less than ten years after she found fame in Hollywood, the Latino beauty became hooked on Ben Affleck. The duo fell in love after their first movie together and, a year later, became engaged.

Many were excited about the future of the “Bennifer” power couple, but their relationship did not sail past the engagement. A few days before their wedding ceremony, the couple ended the romance.

Lopez married Marc Anthony, her third husband, and they shared twins. At the same time, Affleck married his co-star, Jennifer Garner. The couple also has kids.

A few years later, the former couple who dated other people became single following Lopez calling off her engagement with Alex Rodriguez and Affleck calling it quit with his beau, Ana de Armas.

Last year, Bennifer was reborn, first with the actor complimenting Lopez’s work ethic, and later the duo began to attend red carpet events as lovers.

As if that was not exciting enough, they were proud to show off their affections by publicly kissing and holding hands!

Earlier in the year, they purchased a luxury mansion together, and a few weeks after news of their new property, the pair became engaged again!

Sources claim that the pair are genuinely happy with each other and cannot wait to become husband and wife, with a mantra to make this work by respecting each other’s boundaries.

Lopez sounded thrilled while making the big announcement to her fans. She shared a video revealing her awe of the enormous green rock cushioned by a silver band.

Many would recall that their first engagement was in November 2002, and it lasted almost a year. Now, it appears that they are more than ready to take the plunge. Affleck admitted that he feels lucky for a second chance. In his words: 

“I’ve had second chances in my career. I’ve had second chances as a human being… I’ve definitely tried to take advantage of that.”

WHO WAS BEN AFFLECK MARRIED TO BEFORE JENNIFER LOPEZ?

After his split from Lopez, Affleck fell in love with Jennifer Garner, whom he starred with in “Pearl Harbor” and “Daredevil.” 

In 2005, the duo became engaged and married a few months later. That same year, they welcomed their first daughter, Violet. 

Seraphina Rose, the couple’s second daughter, joined the family in 2009. By 2012, their first son and last child, Samuel, was born.

After a decade as a couple, rumors had it that Affleck was involved with his children’s nanny. Although it has been called “garbage” by his reps, the couple announced their divorce a few days after it surfaced.

But it was not until 2017 that they commenced the process. While Affleck went on with other women, including Lindsay Shookus, and Armas, the former couple remained committed to co-parenting their kids.
