Jessy Schram’s offscreen relationship is just as interesting as her many dalliances in film. She was with her boyfriend, now-fiancé Sterling Taylor, for a long time before they got engaged in 2021. She is also a fur mom and travels everywhere with her hairless cat, Pirate.

Illinois-born actress Jessy Schram launched her career as a 10-year-old after signing an acting and modeling deal with the Stewart Talent Agency in Chicago. She was soon booking numerous commercials, print campaigns, and voice-overs. At 18, she made the bold move from Chicago to Los Angeles to try her hand at acting.

The risk soon bore fruit as she took the world by storm with her roles in fan-favorite films and TV shows such as “Falling Drama,” “Chicago Med,” “Mad Men,” “Nashville,” and “Last Resort.”

Her other acting credits include playing alongside Lake Bell and Jon Bernthal in “Shot Caller,” as well as with Chris Pine in the action-thriller “Unstoppable.” Besides acting, she is also a singer-songwriter and has performed countrywide in clubs and concert venues and toured with Joan Baby’s soul band.

Her success in film has continued to snowball with her numerous portrayals of love in an array of films. She has played Pete Campbell’s kindred spirit in “Mad Men” and brought to life the fairytale in “Once Upon a Time,” where she plays Cinderella.

“I personally absolutely adore working with Nick Gehlfuss.”

Jessy Schram Once Said Her Cat Pirate Is the Love of Her Life

While Schram openly confesses her love for her fiancé, she is also not shy about how much she loves her cat. In fact, she once revealed to TV Fanatic that her cat, Pirate, was the love of her life. She shared that Pirate was a little rescue Sphynx cat who came into her life unexpectedly:

“He’s a cat that has the personality of a dog.”
