The investigation began in October of last year. He was convicted guilty of working from 1942 to 1945 in a concentration camp close to Berling. He was also found guilty of being a part of the mass murder as a jail guard.

Josef Schuetz, who was charged with Nazi war crimes, is a pensioner and the oldest person to go on trial.

The elderly war criminal denied serving as an SS guard at the infamous camp in Oraneienburg, but the German court nonetheless gave him a five-year prison term.

The elderly boy claimed to be aware of all the horrifying events taking place inside the camp. But according to The Times, he also reportedly added, “I don’t know why I am here,” as he was testifying in court.

He was found guilty of being an accessory to the killing of the wartime captives at the camp north of Berlin. 3158 prisoners were murdered. However, he is extremely unlikely to do time in prison due to his advanced age. He was convicted of keeping prisoners safe at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

From 1936 through 1945, almost 200,00 people were imprisoned, including LGBT people, Roma, and even regime opponents and Jews.

His involvement was demonstrated by the fact that his name appeared in a number of official documents. He has, however, always claimed to his lawyer that he has never been to a Sachsenhausen camp.

Josef is now the oldest defendant being tried for Nazi crimes. According to the report on Tuesday, he was detained at the age of 101 and was given a five-year prison sentence by a German court.

He might not go to jail, though, given his advanced age. However, according to Daily Mail, he will undergo several physical examinations that will determine if he will be imprisoned or not. He now resides in Brandenburg state but was born in Lithuania.

The Schuetz family and children are receiving more online searches, but there isn’t much information available. His mother, father, and siblings’ information was discovered in the Central Immigration Office record for the year 1941, as some sources have indicated.

However, there may have already been a few generations of war criminals. They could not appreciate what he is experiencing at this time. He must have siblings, but it’s likely that they are all deceased or very old.

No one from his family has come forward to address the media as of yet, according to more information. People want to know everything there is to know about the former Nazi guard family. However, the German court has already issued a five-year sentence based on all the available information.
