When Kanye “Ye” West purchased a mansion across the street from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, some were immediately wary of the decision. Ye, who purchased the property in December 2021 to be closer to his children, may be having second thoughts about the Hidden Hills estate.

According to TMZ, there is no evidence that Ye has started or requested building permits to begin construction on the home. The outlet reports that Ye’s plans to completely renovate the home have seemingly never happened. However, Ye appears to have made considerable progress on his Malibu pad, having enlisted the help of businessman James Goldstein to assist with the home’s design.

Ceasing renovations isn’t the only thing Ye is putting an end to. Recently, the rapper appears to have halted his barrage of social media attacks against Kardashian and her new beau, Pete Davidson. In the wake of Ye’s decision to pull out of Coachella, the rapper’s team is reportedly searching for a behavioral treatment center to help Ye manage his mental health.
