Dmitry Bivol and Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez already have a date for their next fight. On November 5, they will square off in Saudi Arabia with a WBA belt at stake.

An auction was slated for Sunday to determine the promoter of the fight, but it was cancelled as both boxers reached an agreement.

Since July, we have known that the WBA had ordered the fight. However, the negotiations proved tricky and we to had to wait until Sunday to find out the exact date.

Bivol is coming off a surprise unanimous decision win over Canelo Alvarez. He has a record of 20-0, with 11 of those by knockout.

Meanwhile, ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez beat German Dominic Boesel in May by knockout. He has his undefeated record at stake, as he is 44-0 in his career.

Meanwhile, there is also conflict on the issue of the promoters. On one side is Matchroom, representing Bivol, and on the other is Golden Boy Promotions, representing the Mexican. The fight will be broadcast on ‘DAZN’.
