Chelsea will travel to Spain this Monday without Romelu Lukaku, as the Belgian striker has been ruled out of the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid through injury.

The Belgian striker is unavailable after not featuring in his side’s 6-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday due to Achilles pain.

Lukaku joins Callum Hudson-Odoi on the sidelines, but one man who is fit to return is Cesar Azpilicueta.

The Chelsea captain missed the Southampton fixture after testing positive for COVID-19.

However, he has since returned a negative test and has rejoined the squad ahead of their flight to the Spanish capital.
