Sergiño Dest and Christian Pulisic are two of coach Gregg Berhalter‘s most trusted players, and their numbers in Qatar show that they will be two of the players on which he will base his hopes for the next World Cup.
Pulisic played a total of 316 minutes, scoring one goal, and only came off against Iran after suffering an injury that landed him in a Doha hospital. Dest totaled 424 minutes, was cautioned and came off the bench in every game.
