Through his social media channels, Dibu posted his new tattoo about the day that will be with him until he dies. The World Cup can be seen in large and underneath a message: “May passion lead you to glory”. The goalkeeper got it in Argentina, where he spent Christmas and is still celebrating the title he won in Qatar a week ago.

The location of the tattoo is no coincidence. He got the tattoo on his left leg, the one that prevented France’s fourth goal in the last minute of extra time. When it seemed that the Europeans had everything to complete the comeback, Kolo Muani shot and Dibu stretched his leg as far as he could.
As soon as the match was over, Martinez referred to that moment. “Thank God for that save”: it allowed Argentina to stay alive and reach the penalty shootout, where the rest is history.
