Justin Verlander expects to play at least one more year in the MLB.
The right-handed pitcher, 39, recently won the World Series with the Houston Astros, and he became a free agent.
However, Verlander’s wife and supermodel, Kate Upton, wants her husband to keep playing in the MLB as long as he wants. She took the inverse approach applied by Gisele Bündchen.

“I love watching my husband do what he loves to do,” Kate Upton told David Ortiz after the former ball player asked her if she wanted Verlander to retire or to play one more year.
“It’s such an incredible experience, I mean, having Justin home, and being able to be together as a family is so amazing, and then to go to the exact extreme, and be here at the World Series,” Kate Upton told Fox Sports. “It’s just so exciting.”
