Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen faced each other on Thursday night, but it was not only the two NFL quarterbacks who stole the limelight in the much-anticipated duel between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams.
Allen‘s girlfriend Brittany Williams posed alongside Stafford‘s wife, Kelly, to make headlines following the first NFL game of the 2022/23 regular season.
Williams went viral several times in the summer due to her pictures from Bills games, vacations or nights out in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Kelly is also constantly stealing the spotlight with her photos on social media.
As for their partners, reigning champions Rams were defeated 31-10 by the Bills, who are considered as one of the favourites to go all the way to Super Bowl glory this season.
Stafford became the 12th quarterback in NFL history to reach 50,000 passing yards in his career, while Allen completed 26 of 31 passes for 297 yards, registering three touchdowns and two interceptions.
“I was actually happy at half time,” Allen said. “Three turnovers and going in 10-10 – zero to zero – that gave us all the confidence in the world, our defence being able to back us up.
“We hurt ourselves a lot in that first half. There’s a lot to learn from. But that second half, that’s who we want to be, going out there and executing the way we expect to execute.”
