French Football Federation (FFF) president Noel Le Graet has urged Kylian Mbappe to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and stay in France to pursuit his dreams.

Le Graet claimed that it would be easier for the France international to win the Ballon d’Or as a PSG player, and he has urged Mbappe to stay put at the Parc des Princes amidst interest from Real Madrid.

“I want Kylian to stay in Paris,” Le Graet told Ouest-France.

“For French football it is better to have one of the best players in the world, if not the best, in your league. He has a better chance of winning the Ballon d’Or with PSG than elsewhere.

“When you change clubs, you always have to adapt to an environment. PSG are on a losing streak, but they are still a great club.”

Mbappe’s frustration

Meanwhile, Mbappe expressed his frustration after PSG‘s 3-0 defeat away at Monaco in Ligue 1 last Sunday.

“The goal is to seek the tenth league title,” said Mbappe.

“The rest doesn’t matter. Even if we win 8-0 or 9-0, people will continue to think about the Champions League. We must continue to be professionals and respect each other.

“We must respect the fans who support us, the people and our families. You have to respect yourself if you have a shred of respect for what you do.”
