On Thursday, Kun Aguero was seen wearing the training kit of the Argentina national team, accompanying the team’s session and at times, laughing and chatting with his former teammates and friends.

At first it was thought that it was just a gesture to the now streamer, but the AFA, led by its president Claudio ‘Chiqui’ Tapia, offered him to stay with the team ahead of Sunday’s World Cup final against France.

This represents a nice gesture from the squad, coaching staff and management towards a player who, due to unfortunate circumstances, had to quit the game a year ago, and who, if it were not for that, would possibly be part of Lionel Scaloni’s squad.

The truth is that Aguero will not only remain with the squad, but he will be alongside his close friend Leo Messi.

During the stream that Aguero broadcasted with Messi, De Paul, Paredes and Papu Gomez, at one point, the PSG man told Aguero that they are all in his room, “our room”, since historically both always shared a room.

Since Aguero’s retirement, Messi never shared a room again, so now he will have the pleasure of doing so, precisely with his favourite roommate.

On the other hand, AFA also invited Nicolas Gonzalez, Giovani Lo Celso and Joaquin Correa to the final, three players who would have made the list of 26 had it not been for injuries.
