Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly told Sergio Ramos that he is not part of the club’s plans for next season.

Ramos‘ current deal with the French side runs until 2023, but PSG are prepared to bring his time at the club to an end this summer.

According to Le Parisien, the club’s hierarchy have informed the 36-year-old of this news, and it is due to the numerous injuries that have kept him sidelined for much of this campaign.

Ramos doesn’t want to leave PSG

However, in spite of this, Ramos intends to remain at the Parc des Princes this summer and fight for his place.

The club have been left bitterly disappointed by Ramos‘ injury record this season, which saw him not make a single appearance in the Champions League.

Given that he was signed with the intention of leading PSG to Champions League glory, this has particularly frustrated the Parisian club.

Despite PSG‘s intention to part ways with Ramos this summer, a key problem that they are set to face is the lack of offers that they will receive for Spain‘s all-time record appearance holder.
