Take Kubo‘s future looks to be decided with Real Madrid and Real Sociedad nearing a deal for the forward.

After a slight hiccup in talks, Notices de Gipuzkoa are reporting both parties have seemingly agreed on terms.

Although Los Blancos initially wanted to send the Japanese international away on loan, Real Sociedad rejected that offer.

Kubo said yes to Sociedad in July

Negotiations with LaReal, led by Jokin Aperribay and Roberto Olabe, have been straightforward.

As reported by MARCA on June 22, Kubo was presented with a five-year contract that would give him the salary he’d receive if he stayed at Real Madrid.

The chance to join a team with the attacking style of Real Sociedad, and one that plays in the Europa League, always made them Kubo‘s first choice.

This comes after he made it clear he didn’t want to travel to the USA with Madrid given their non-EU quota problems. A similar outcome is expected for Reinier as well.

The Brazilian is likely next to leave, with several options available to him.

Real Madrid have already said goodbye to Marcelo, Isco and Gareth Bale, while Mario Gila, Victor Chust and Luka Jovic have joined Lazio, Cadiz and Fiorentina, respectively.
