For the second consecutive game, the Denver Broncos played in prime time and on both occasions were defeated in overtime by the Indianapolis Colts and the Los Angeles Chargers, respectively, on both occasions the level demonstrated by their star quarterback Russell Wilson was not what this organization expected when they obtained him via trade from the Seattle Seahawks in the last offseason, however, for the first time since he arrived in the “Mile High City” there has been talk about his health status.
Wilson injured his hamstring in the fourth period of the Monday Night Football game of week 6 of the NFL, a game in which he completed his first 10 passes, in what seemed to be his vindication, however, he ended up hitting only five of the next 18 throws, in another day to forget.

How did Russell Wilson’s injury happen?
“It got me pretty good in the fourth quarter, but you know, just tried to play through it and all that,” Wilson said after the game. “I felt good moving around, running around, throwing it and everything else, especially early on, and that happened, so that was a little unfortunate.”
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero’s report, this appears to be a pretty serious injury and after an MRI performed this Tuesday, Ian Rapoport added that the former Seattle Seahawks player is in a fair amount of pain, however, his evaluation will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis and he intends to play in Week 7.
What’s next for the Denver Broncos?
Currently, the Broncos are 2-4 and in third place in the AFC West behind the aforementioned Chargers (4-2) and the Kansas City Chiefs (4-2) and will return to the gridiron on Sunday, October 23 to host the surprising New York Jets.
