He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2012 Draft and it seemed like he was destined to be a ‘one franchise man’. However, fate had other plans and the 2022 has Russell Wilson donning another team’s uniform for the first time in his NFL career: with the Denver Broncos.
He became a town hero after leading his team to their first ever Super Bowl in history (XLVIII). But fans now are just bitter after his departure, and they let that be known to him when he exited the Lumen Field visitor’s locker room for the first time in his career.
The sound seems light at first, but becomes almost deafening the more time Wilson ran on the field for warmups. Will there be any appreciative fans in the stands throughout the game at all? It’s likely, but the mast majority of Seattle fans have made Wilson know he is persona non grata at Lumen Field.
In any case, what a turn of events! Wilson never spoke poorly about his time in Seattle during the offseason, it seems that fans are more likely bitter at the simple fact that the 33 year-old decided to take his talents elsewhere.
