The champion Kansas City Chiefs (17-10 over the Baltimore Ravens) and the San Francisco 49ers (34-31 over the Detroit Lions) will play in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Purdy finished with 267 yards passing (64.5% conversion) and a touchdown pass. He brought balance to an offense that ended up coming back thanks to the effectiveness of Jake Moody on field goals, Brandon Aiyuk avoiding an interception and being “deadly” in the end zone.
After that the defense took advantage of Detroit’s risky calls on fourth down to book their place in the Super Bowl.
The toughest challenge: Mahomes’ dynasty
However, the great story has its last chapter in the most difficult of battles. That of beating the ‘final boss’ in video games, the phenomenon Patrick Mahomes and his two-time champion Kansas City Chiefs.
